Bacan

At Bacán, Latin American cuisine meets Venetian ingredients in an explosive fusion of flavors. Each dish draws inspiration from the rich culinary traditions of Latin America, enhanced by the fresh, vibrant notes of the lagoon and Mediterranean. Guests can explore the menu through à la carte options or a curated tasting experience, perfectly paired with expertly crafted cocktails.

Behind Bacán is Marco, a visionary chef and entrepreneur with a global outlook on gastronomy. As the owner of Bacán and Birraria la Corte in Venice, Marco combines extensive culinary expertise with strong leadership and team management skills. His innovative and proactive approach continues to redefine dining experiences, blending creativity and precision.

Partnering with Marco is Silvia, a passionate professional dedicated to driving sustainability in the food world. Through her expertise in culinary arts, scientific research, and management, Silvia champions a transformative approach to the food chain. Her work focuses on creating innovative products and services that balance creativity with a commitment to sustainability.

Venissa

Nestled in the enchanting island of Mazzorbo, which, together with Torcello and Burano, forms the Native Venice, Venissa stands as a perfect example of a walled vineyard. Its historic manor house was restored in pursuit of the visionary dream of the Bisol family to revive the Dorona, the golden grape of the Venetian doges, nearly extinct after the great flood of 1966, and the only indigenous grape variety of Venice.

The walled vineyard serves as the perfect backdrop for Ristorante Venissa, where Chefs Chiara Pavan and Francesco Brutto champion an environmental cuisine that highlights plant-based dishes and local ingredients.

Fish from the lagoon, vegetables grown on the estate, and wild herbs harvested from the vineyard rows are also the stars of the dishes at Osteria Contemporanea, where the cuisine becomes a shared experience.

Overlooking the lush greenery of the vineyard, the Bar offers gourmet breaks with cicchetti, glasses of wine, and cocktails.
